Marina graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986 and immediately started her career working with individuals with developmental and social/emotional differences.
Several decades on, Marina has established a recognised career working across a variety of developmental and behavioural presentations with Families, Health Professionals, Teachers and Early Childhood Educators. Marina has worked across Australia as well as internationally and presented at various Conferences, particularly in the field of early intervention, autism, positive behaviour support and family resilience.
Marina is passionate about creating environments which support the needs of those who think and learn differently and to work with the strengths of individuals within those environments – including the child, family and educator.
She is a strong advocate for person & family centred practice and the notion that 'the best work happens in between sessions.' Marina also consults to a variety of organisations and has written a number of publications. She is regularly called upon to deliver workshops, webinars and capacity building programs.
Marina is a fully registered Psychologist and Member of the Australian Psychological Society. She is a Board Approved Supervisor and currently works with a large number of therapists and educators in developing Reflective Practice skills.
Marina has worked with hundreds of families and professionals over the last 30 years and is a passionate advocate for creating a ‘team’ around the child to achieve the best outcomes possible.
